Snail.

Moving out today, for real. Just emptied my ENTIRE room and when Vanny gets back from work with take it all to our apartment. Woohoo!
Its been a long, tiring year and wow is it nice to know that I won't have to go to class every day for a little while. I find it exciting. Over the next few weeks I'll be moving all of my things into the apartment and setting it up so it's actually livable. Hooray!
Going back to Philly today, my Aunt and Uncle are there too, havent seen them in a year or so.
Anyhow, I havent really slept in a few days so Im going to go do that now.

At the age of six I wanted to be a cook. At seven I wanted to be Napoleon. And my ambition has been growing steadily ever since.

-Salvador Dali

2 weeks from Friday I will be out of here. How exciting is this? VERY! I cannot wait. I've been living in a dorm room for far too long.

Yesterday my roommate and I discovered that you can change your language on Facebook to "Pirate". Its pretty funny, really, but gets kinds of hard to read and understand after a while. Requires a bit too much thinking for just looking on Facebook.

Salvador Dali's birthday is this Monday.

RANT
WHY IS ROBERT PATTINSON PLAYING DALI IN AN UPCOMING MOVIE?! This... is painful. It truly is. The guy that plays a dead wizard and a shitty vampire is casted to play one of the greatest artists of all time? Salvador deserves much better than this.

Give Me Back My Face!

I have come up with a spectacular new idea for a website.

Forget "Facebook", we need Faebook. For the fairies.

Anyhow. Van and I saw Watchmen the other night and wow, was it good.

Having not read the graphic novel, I wasn't all that sure what to expect. Those who have read the novel did not seem to care for it as much, so I think I will read it later and then compare.

The cinematography was wonderful and reminded me slightly of Quintin Tarentino. The acting was well done, as long as you are in the right mindset and remembering the time period. It also had an awesome, hilarious, and ironic soundtrack.

So, if you haven't see it yet, go do so.

and then go listen to the band Dr. Manhattan. Just because.

The other day Broski and I were talking about how strange relationships turn out to be. Like when you were dating someone and then broke up with them, and then every time you see them you wonder why. You wonder what you ever saw in them, why you ever liked them, and why they ever meant anything. Sometimes you get out of a relationship and you see how bad it really was the whole time. Everyone that was telling you how awful it is was totally right. Its a rather strange feeling. I know now that I look at certain people's pictures and I just feel sick and stupid for ever caring about them. I also know that I am really really happy that I am no longer in that situation. I'm in a very good relationship now.

My ex sent me a note the other day, saying what a horrid person I am and how happy they are that they aren't with me anymore, along with how selfish I am and how now that they're in a relationship with someone else, they see how much it really sucked to be with me.

I'm happy that now they know how I felt for the passed year or so. So then I went and threw the jewelry she gave me off a cliff. It was a really a good feeling to get rid of all of that. I still have a few more things to throw. It'll be awesome.

Ive been having "girl over-load" recently.
Don't get me wrong, I love the girls I hang out with, but sometimes I really just need to go and hang out with the guys.

So today I got back from McDonald's then went and played xbox with a handful of dude that I don't really know. it was a great feeling. For every 1 hour I hang out with girls, I need to either chill with guys or be alone for 3 hours.

Anyhow. Its 5:30 am right now, so I'm going to go to sleep before I have to wake up. I need to start waking up earlier because I'm just too rushed for class. ah well.

Goodnight.

"Is That A Dagger?" "No, It's A Necromancer's Wand!" "Oh! Okay!'

There seems to be a continuous stream of people coming in and out of my room as if we have a revolving door. We're supposed to have four roommates but we seem to have anywhere between five and ten at a time. Strangely enough they seem to move like pinballs, ricocheting around all four sides of the room to see everything, in a giant whirlwind of colors and accents. Yesterday we had:

A Staten Islander
A Vegan
A Just-Turned-17-Year-Old
Vlad
Mia
Broski

Then my three roommates and I.

All in and out, in and out, in and out.
Crayons and soup everywhere!

And all of them come in and start looking through everything, which I'm cool with, because I have so much weird stuff. Guitars, fairy wings, a ton of food, crayons, videogames, books. So much stuff, so many bright colors. Its a sensory overload. I do desperately need to clean, especially since there are so many people coming in all the time. I'll have to do that today after I get out of class.
Anyway. Off I Go!

"So, people called you "Father"...how would you like to be called "Daddy"....?"

This weekend was a good weekend.

Perhaps that was not the best way to start this post after writing that title.
Anyhow.
This weekend was a good weekend.

My roommates left to go home and are returning today, which meant that I had to room pretty much to myself. If there is one thing that I really love about being alone, its the fact that I can sing along with my music. I prefer to not do so while there are other people in the room. So that was nice. I made a 4 layer Boston cream cake, which turned out pretty good, I'd say. I took it over to Chux's house.

Van and I finally broke the news to everyone that I am indeed NOT pregnant.
(I hadn't written anything about it here because Michelle reads these sometimes)
He and I had an elaborate plan to convince all of our friends that I am pregnant without actually telling them that I'm pregnant (which more or less made them convince themselves and each other that I was. We just sat back and let them do all the work.)
Our original plan was to keep it going to 3 months until I started "showing". We then decided that we could probably pull it off up until the water breaking. I said that they better throw me a baby shower.
Alas we had to tell them, just for their own sanity, as it was starting to get overly dramatic. So about a week into it, Van and I showed up with a cake and 2 packs of cigarettes and told Zac it was a joke. Over all, it was a success.

We just hung out for the rest of the weekend. Ordered pizza and Chinese food, watched four movies last night: Corpse Bride, The Triplets Of Belleville, Snakes on a Plane and Stranger Than Fiction.

Yesterday I made a list of things that I highly dislike about people in the bathroom, because sometimes there are just things that people do that bother be immensely. For example:

Standing and talking on the phone.
Why would someone go and stand in the bathroom to talk on their phone? I honestly do not want to hear you complain to your "bff" back home about what your boyfriend did the other day while I'm trying to pee, nor do i want to sit there and feel like you're listening to me pee. So please, go somewhere else and let me piss in peace. And to go along with that, don't just go hide out in the bathroom either. Those people that are just standing there for seemingly no reason? Yeah. Stop with that.

Another would be lining the seat with toilet paper and then LEAVING IT THERE. EW!? Flush that, please? Its pretty gross so walk into the stall and your toilet looks like a pinata.

Next would have to be the people that are sitting in the stall and aren't doing anything. You know that they have to shit, but they don't want people to hear them, so they just sit there and do nothing. Now, which is more awkward, someone hearing you poop, or just sitting there for 10 minutes while the other person goes, leaves, washes their hands, drys them, another person walks in, does the same, all while that same person sits there, not knowing what to do?
Trust me, we know you've gotta go, so just do it. I always want to tell them "It'll be okay! You can do it!" Don't get me wrong, I will not poop if another person is in the bathroom, I wait for them to leave. but honestly? You're going to sit there for half an hour?
So whenever that happens, I make sure to take as long as possible.

Next would be when two girls go into the bathroom, one goes to use the toilet and the other one stands outside and talks to her. We don't want to hear your conversation. Do you really have to follow each other around like that? No.

And lastly is when people leave the bathroom and leave the sink running. its not that hard to make sure that water turned off. Really, kids.

That's about it.

Oh, last thing:
Van and I went to the diner for breakfast (but we slept until 11 am! Wow! That's a first!), and we were seated in a different part than usual. Somehow, we managed to get seated by not one, but TWO priests. TWO!?
Too bad I wasn't dressed like a hooker that day.
"So, people call you "Father"...how would you like to be called "Daddy"..."

I think that is pretty much all I have to say for right now. But if you have any idea about how two lesbians would play out a transformers fetish, please let me know. I am interested.

The Best Thing That Could Be Happening

Here is my 50th post. Just to give myself a bit of a boost, I'm going to go through the goods and bads in my life. Lets check it out.

The Goods

  1. 1. I'm actually doing well in school for the first time in a long time

  2. I'm actually enjoying the time I have at school

  3. I have some of the most supportive friends I have ever had. We can just sit around and bullshit, talk about important things, or go out. Anything.

  4. My family and I are getting along really well, despite the stupid shit I sometimes do.

  5. I have an awesome boyfriend that treats me well

  6. I'm starting to realize that I deserve to be treated well. This is new for me

  7. I get along with all my roommates and we have so much fun together

  8. I'm starting to get my life straightened out

  9. I don't hate myself as much as I used to

  10. I make awesome angel food cake

  11. I wake up with a smile almost every day

  12. I;m learning to work around the big problems in my life

  13. I'm teaching myself guitar and I love it. I can actually play songs now!

  14. My health is in check. I'm not really ill or anything

  15. I've learned to ask for help when I need it, I've stopped trying to do so much on my own

  16. I've removed a lot of drama from my life, so it things are a lot less stressful

  17. I've learned to start taking more chances and live life a little bit more.

  18. I don't feel ugly all the time anymore.

  19. I haven't smiled this much in a long, long time.

  20. I quit smoking for the most part

The Bads

  1. I don't really eat as much as I should.

  2. I drink too much, but I'm trying to stop.

  3. Michelle lives far away.

  4. I'm running low on cash.

  5. I wish I had better relationships with my siblings.

  6. I've lost quite a few friends recently due to arguments and dramatic situations.

Over all I would say that things are going very well. I'm happy with where I am in my life right now. Things really look like they're turning around for me. And, when it comes to the bad things, I can fix most of them with time. I can't control when Michelle comes back, but she will, I can't do a whole lot about the not having money, but I can try, and if those friends don't want to be friends with me anymore, there isn't anything I can do about that either so I just let it go. But, I can stop drinking, with a little help, I can talk to my siblings more, and I can start eating more, which I have already done. I get up and eat lunch with my roommates almost every day now. So it's all going to be okay.

Woohoo!

Magically Delicious

Sometime last week I had a bowl of Lucky Charms with milk. Which is awesome, because milk is pretty hard to come by in a dorm. I finished my Lucky Charms and set the bowl on my infrequently visited desk. Now, my desk is so infrequently visited that I ended up forgetting about this bowl of milk that had turned and interesting greenish blue color from the cereal. honestly, I can't figure out what the color its. Its like..a like minty/seafood green, but its also kind of blue...but..its also kind of yellow..and..also kind of pink...so I really can't tell. Anyhow, I had forgotten about this mystical cereal milk that reflected the entire spectrum, and I eventually found it later. Well...two days ago. A few days before I had added more milk from other cereal so I could wash it all at once, but I of course forget. Now, I find it yesterday and to my surprise there was no mold growing on it, but the sugars from the cereal had caused it to now have the texture of brie cheese. Or really thick pudding with a skin over it. I used a plastic spoon to scrape it out and to clean the bowl in the bathroom. I assumed that the "milk" would have smelled really awful, but strangely enough it gave off the aroma of provolone cheese. Anyway. It was pretty gross but also fascinating. My bowl is clean, but I'm still afraid to eat out of it. Perhaps I will use a plastic cup today.

"Thoughts Are Funny Little Things, They Can Make Paupers or Make Kings"

The more I'm here, the more I want to go home.
Today really just sucked. I'm not even going to lie.
I just had to walk home in the ice from McDonalds down a highway, Jenny hasn't had her mother call mine about her visiting, my friend might be pregnant and I've been horribly ill.
This is just a lot right now and the people that I thought I could trust really just don't seem to be there for me anymore. This makes me rather sad, to be honest. I'm not going to lie and pretend that its okay. There is so much stuff going on with my life that I can't even write down on here because I can't afford to have it on the Internet where other people can find it. There are things that I just can't risk. There is an overwhelming feeling of sadness right now and I'm really not all that sure what to do about it.
I also had a dream last night.
I had a dream that I was looking down at two or three large pots of boiling water. In the water were several very very young, dead, kittens. It was very disgusting. And interesting.

"To see a kitten in your dream signifies deceit and trouble ahead. If you dream about a litter of kittens, you may be drawn into a social conflict."

"Hot water foretells a season of social setbacks."

Huh. Makes too much sense.

Anyhow. I have to sit here and wait because my room is locked and I don't have my keys to get back in. They're in Michelle's car. So, I guess I'll just sit around until she gets back or something. I don't know.
Goodnight, computer.

Crying On A Saturday Night

Not really! More like "jumping up and down with excitement".

Misfits concert tonight. And I'm really very excited about this.

I am Misfits pre-gaming right now, as I do sometimes before going to a show.

It shall be epic.

UNLIKE THE TURKEY CLUB SANDWICH I HAD TODAY!
That was pretty gross.

I went to Courtside to get something to eat. It took 20 minutes to get my food, and when I got it, it was disgusting. The tomatoes were grainy, the lettuce was browning, the bread was soggy, and the turkey had an odd flavor. So I just pulled out the bacon and ate that. Good enough, I suppose. I need to find something else to eat before I go tonight.

And I'm going to bitch real quick.

For some reason there are these huge blinking blue snow-flake lights hanging between my side and her side of the room. And they were on at 4 in the morning when I got back. And they're screaming blue in my face at night.

Sure, they're pretty, but not when I'm trying to sleep.

I need to get out of here.

MISFITS CONCERT TONIGHT!
two more hours....Misfits...
