Android.

I am so paranoid.
This is terrible.

Recently, I had fleas in my house. Luckily enough, I killed them all, and will be respraying next week.

On top of that, the media keeps fueling our minds with the threat of bedbugs.

All of this has led me to being extremely itch all the time.
I feel like I have things crawling all over me. It is driving me crazy!!!

Ling Ling, my ass!

As humans, many of us work hard to keep our environment clean, healthy and alive.
We have National Parks, reservations, endangered wildlife funds and various research projects all to make sure that our planet will last forever.

At a very young age, we are told that we should respect the environment. You know, "don't litter", "conserve water" and of course "recycle".

We are also told that every being on the planet has its own special use. Every organism plays its own unique role in the environment and that all of it should be protected and saved.

Well I beg to differ, because I have found an exception:

Pandas.
Fucking pandas.
Those smarmy, self righteous bastards.
Of all creatures on this earth, pandas are the ones that serve no use to the ecosystem.
They do not produce anything useful (except for shit, which can apparently be made into souvenirs...), they don't serve as prey for anything and they don't keep any kind of population in check.
Bamboo population? Yeah right. That shit grows faster than mold on a week old burrito. Pandas or not bamboo is going to flourish. There is so much bamboo and so few pandas that they don't even count.
Pandas. Serve. No. Use.
On top of being useless, they're little bitches, too.
Everyone thinks they're so cute and cuddly,
THEY'RE FUCKING BEARS, PEOPLE!
Do you not realize this?
There is no difference between

and

They're both bears, they're both huge and they both want to tear your limbs off.
Just because they look like fat mimes doesn't mean they're friendly. Or in an invisible box.
Below is a video of a lucky man.

Long story short; fuck pandas.

Because I'm A Heartless, Sarcastic Bitch

Another list.

I used to say that I thought I was a rather patient person. As my life goes on and I encounter more people, this theory seems to change a little bit. Perhaps morals are just different from what they used to be. Maybe people have just stopped caring. Who knows. I certainly don't. There are a lot of things that I see kids (and adults, for that matter) doing that I know for sure I would have gotten in HUGE trouble for if I did.
Not to say that my parents were strict, because they definitely were not; they just brought me up to generally be polite, courteous and have manners. I must say that for this I am thankful.

Sadly though, I see how people act these days and it sickens me. I don't mean to be "hoity-toity" or stuck up, but at the rate our race is going, we're about to drive ourselves into the ground.

So, now, it is time for another list!

SKELLYTON'S SOCIAL PET PEEVES
1. Playing music off of your cellphone in public.
Whether you're sitting on the bus, walking through the mall or eating at a restaurant, you should NOT have your cellphone out playing your shit-quality MP3's for everyone to hear. Use some headphones. I don't want to know your "Top 10 favorite songs this week" while I am trying to enjoy me meal.
I once had a couple come in to Ruby Tuesday's while Van and I were eating, sit down at the table across from us and play music through their cellphone throughout their entire meal. Should I have said something? Probably. Would it have made a difference? No. Why? They were friends with the waiter. Go figure.
2. Take up two parking spaces, because your car is "the shit".
There is no need for you to double park your shit. If you do this intentionally, you are a pompous asshole. If you do this accidentally, you are a 16 year old girl that just got her license.
Another time, while at the mall, Van and I encountered another bout of douchebaggery. It was a Saturday afternoon and the parking lots were almost all full at the movie theater. It took us at least 15 minutes to find a space, when finally, low and behold, there was one! We begin to pull our car up only to see that someone had very intentionally parked on the line. This irked me horribly. If you are worried about your car getting scratched or bumped, don't take it to the mall. Don't take it to the movie theater at the mall. Don't take it to the movie theater at the mall on the Saturday afternoon. And lastly, don't take it to the movie theater at the mall on Saturday afternoon in POUGHKEEPSIE NEW YORK. I hastily wrote a note that said "You;re car isn't THAT nice, asshole" stuck it on their windshield, then went and enjoyed my film. The end.
3. Pure and simple laziness
Laziness within reason, I can handle. Being so lazy that you cause more strain for someone else, I cannot. Laziness and ignorance go hand and hand, to me.
Guess where I was for this one? Yep! THE MALL! Though, this time I was working. Sadly, this happens on a somewhat regular basis. A customer comes in, hustling like their ass in on fire, and comes up to me. They do not say "hi", they do not say "excuse me". The first thing out of their mouth is "I need 'x'". Now, 'x', is usually a CD of sorts. Let's say its The Rolling Stones.
"I need The Rolling Stones."
Usually in this situation, I would like to reply "No. You don't. You WANT the Rolling Stones. You don't need shit." But I don't. I don't say it. Usually, to be honest, I say "okay."
"You'll be able to find it a lot faster than I will, I don't have a lot of time."
"Its under "R" for "Rolling". All of our CDs go alphabetically."
"Where is that?"
"Under "R". Comes after "Q" and before "S"."
"You need to show me."
Jesusfuckingchristmaythisearthburnbeforemeandsufferonethousandfierydeaths.
At this point, I stop whatever I am doing, walk over to the very predominantly labeled "R" section and point to the 4 to 5 rows of Rolling Stones CDs we have.
"Which one is the latest?"
"I don't know...here..."
I then pick up a CD and look at the date on the back, explaining that CDs have a date on the back. I hand them the one that says "2010"
"Is this the latest one?"
"Yes. Its from 2010."
They then walk away without a word.
Apparently working in retail makes you sub human.
This post is getting far to long, so perhaps I will continue my list later on.

There's Tears In My Grits!

Long time no blog, it seems.
It is very nice to know that we now 100% have our very own internet! So there is no longer a need to steal it from my neighbors next door.
I will be working today at 6:00 until 10:00, which in all honesty seems like a royal waste of time. Why? Because its four hours. Also, Van gets home an hour after I leave the house. Which is a shame! But, this gives him time to watch Paranomal Activity, which I can far, far to afraid to watch. I know I will be seeing things for weeks. He can also watch District 9, because I definitely don't want to see that.
Moving right along, it has been a silly passed few weeks. Working working working due to the holiday season (which what magnificent, by the way). Yesterday we got sushi and rented movies. Finally saw the most recent Harry Potter. Whoop-de-freaking-do. What happened to half of the chapters?!
Alas, that is literature-to-film for you.
Clearly I have had far too much time on my hands lately, considering I have spent the majority of it on *chan sites, further proving to myself that there truly are absolutely terrifying people in this world. Because of this I am now finding ways to arm myself in the best ways possible.
My house is a filthy mess and I should certainly spend more time cleaning it. But its to the point of where I look around and immediately get depressed and have no desire to move what so ever because it is so messy and overwhelming. Little steps. Little steps at a time.
To add more video games to the collection, I got Van a Wii for christmas. He has been playing Mario and we have both been playing Rockband. I can only sing and play the drums. Not so good at the guitar bit though, which is funny because I play real guitar. Who would have thought.

To add some spontaneity to things, here is my list of the top ten worst places ever to go while you have a hangover:

1.Hibachi restaurant
as if it wasn't bad and loud enough sober, there is nothing like the sound of banging metal-on-metal, and overly-enthusiastic Japanese chefs to make your head throb even more.

2.Bowling Alley
Not only do you get to endure the continuous clashing of toppling pins, but you also get to smell the nauseating aroma of shitty pizza, fake cheese, and feet.

3.NASCAR Race
Four hours and screeching tires and burned rubber, spilt beer and rednecks. Yeehaw.

4.Babysitting
"I WANNA WATCH DORA!"
"I wanna fucking slit your throat...."

5. 3D IMAX Theater
Nothing cures vertigo like watching 400ft tall dolphins leap toward your face to the sensual sounds of Enya.

6. GWAR Concert
As if you hadn't dealt with enough alcohol the night before, now your get to deal with alcohol, alcoholics, AND fake blood, all while being violently thrashed around.

7. Your Significant Other's Grandparent's House
There's not better way to make a great impression than to mumble incoherently and not look at anyone.

8.Chuck E Cheese
On top of the bright lights, whirring arcade games and more stale pizza than you know what to do with, you'll also have the wonderful joy of dealing with hundreds of screaming kids and a large dancing mouse. Perfect.

9. Pink Floyd's Darkside of the Moon Tribute and Lightshow
Even worse, if you had to pay for the tickets, and you definitely didn't want to go in the first place. Never forget the smell of a fog machine. Never listen to Pink Floyd again.

10. Work
You feel like shit, you're somewhere you don't want to be even when you're sober, you're not making enough money and you're doing something you most certainly don't want to do.

Ta-da!

AAAAARRRRTEEEEEEEEEEEX!!

The empty hot chocolate mug is taunting me.
For some reason I have always been one to drink hot chocolate when it is really warm out and get cravings for ice cream in the winter. Never made a whole lot of sense.

Last update was the 20th, I see, quite a while ago that was!
Van took off of work for a week, so I felt no need to spend my time typing on a blog while he was here! my work starts tomorrow and in all honesty I do not look forward to this. The good news is I have to be there at 6, meaning I have to leave the house at 5 instead of at 4 like I had thought I would. Never is there a reason to complain about another hour of sleep.

yesterday we watch The Never Ending Story 2. Also known as "A Sad Attempt At Almost Trying To Make A Sequel But Failing Miserably"

I really don't think the same people even made it. The only actor that was the same, was the man that owned the book store. Even Falkor looked different and all of the character's voices were different people. It is quite evident that they did not even try.
We all know that the first movie consisted primarily of people screaming each other's names and that is about it, but of course it is a kid's movie from the 80's so one really couldn't ask much more than that.
Strange news though: there is rumor of a remake. This is indeed exciting.
Van and I decided that it will just be Alan Rickman as Falkor, in a dog suit, giving Shia LaBouf a piggy-back ride through the land of Fantasia, which I have decided is just a parking lot behind a Walmart with the streetlamps adorned with crepe-paper birthday streamers. The Nothing will be played by Johnny Depp and The Emptiness will be Helena Bonham Carter. Danny DiVito will be Morla, the giant turtle.
Sick. Sicksicksick.

Guess Who Won't Be Sleeping Tonight???

To anyone that doesn't know, if there is any one thing that I am absolutely terrified of, it's sharks. I am terrified of sharks and I would just as soon blow of my head with a shotgun than set foot in an ocean.
Due to a recent dream that I had, my mother felt the need to send me a facebook page called "Not being eaten by sharks"
I joined. Unfortunately there were pictures

You may click the picture to go to the website of the photographer.

And I hope to GOD that this is photoshopped. It definitely made me pee myself.

*edit
the second picture is indeed photoshopped.
Lucky, lucky bastards.

A Diva Is A Female Version Of A Hustla!

It's been a few days, hasn't it? Only 3 or so, but still, thats a lot, I think.
4 days until I leave for extern!
I am very excited to have a month off before I have to start working!
Van and I move in together this weekend. Thats exciting! And then back to Philly again.
There is so much to do and so little time. I need to pack everything desperately!!
I don't even know where to start at this point, I think I need some boxes to put everything in.
Ugghhh.
And my allergies are killin me!

I saw a ton of birds today, perching on railings as I walked by. I cant believe how many there are. its ridiculous.
Anyhow. Off to class or clean or something! SO MUCH TO DO!

Bitches Love Me 'Cause They Know That I Can Rock.

What an awesome weekend, really!
It started out rocky, because of my practical. I definitely did NOT do as well as I hoped. Applestrip is not my forte, apparently, but I did know that ahead of time. It's amazing what nerves can do to you.
I don't have a picture of what it's supposed to look like, but I do have a picture that shows what it did look like.

Jabba no like-a apple strip! Jee panwa waffmula chone patogga che lickmoomoo!

But then after class Van and I went to the movies and saw Wolverine.
Can I mention...the awesome?
It was pretty good. not my favorite of all of them, but it was really good none the less.
Deadpool was in it, so that just made it awesome. And Gambit.

We then came home, slept, woke up the next morning and lazed around for a bit, which is always really nice. The weather has been great.
Theeeeeeennnn we went to the Melting Pot. Aaaaahhhhh. Delicious. More food that we even knew what to do with. It was an incredibly nice night. And I definitely brought one of the fondue forks home.

And that's only 1/3 of it. talk about being a fat kid! Mmmmm.

We hardly made it home on such full stomachs. We definitely learned how contagious yawning really is.

Sunday was rainy, so no baseball, but we did have RP night and made food and kicked vampire ass.

DAMN.
I just went back and read what I wrote.
Starwars (mentioning Jabba the Hutt, and Huttese)
XMen (mentioning several of the characters)
RPing (self explanatory)
Vampires
I am the biggest nerd on the face of the planet.
But I digress.
I will spend most of the day packing up my dorm, since I am leaving in 3 weeks. it's about time that I start putting things in boxes and bags so it's not a complete disaster being put off until the last possible second. So I'll get a lot of my clothing packed up.
I'm really excited for my next class.
I finished cakes (just barely!)
and I am now going into Individual Production Pastries. My favorite!
it should be an awesome class.
Now, for something completely out there and incoherent. I only know of one, maybe 2 people that will understand this. Van and I talked a little bit about it yesterday, I believe.
I really wish people could know certain things about me. I really can't say or explain what they are, for my own safety and sanity, but lets call it an illness.
I really wish that the people I associate with, work with or come in contact with could see that I have this illness. It would help them understand why I act the way I do, do the things I do, say what I say. They would be able to understand my actions, everything would make so much more sense. it would be exponentially helpful to both myself and people around me, but it's really not that easy. Van made the point of saying that if everyone could see that I was this way, that would just give them one more thing to latch on to and pick apart. And this is true, but i would have to wonder if it would be worth it. It would almost be like wearing a medical ID bracelet that said I was bipolar, or something similar. People would understand why I act the way I do, but on the other hand it would be more likely that they would treat me differently, perhaps negatively, because they knew that about me.
But, they would understand little things like why I don't speak to people when I'm angry, why I act incredibly nonchalant when something goes wrong and why it seems like I don't care about anything. Why I paint, why I write, why I play music when something in wrong. Why I don't talk about my problems, ever. I know it upsets people on occasion when I don't tell them why I am upset or what is bothering me. It just goes with that. It goes with my nature, and it goes with my, for lack of a better term, "illness". If I could get rid of it, sometimes I think I would. But I have a feeling that someday I may need it for something. We'll see.

*BAMF!*

Let The Bodies Hit The Floor

Awesome luck yesterday. I think not.
Within the first 30 minutes of class I managed to hit the floor. Campus safety took me to the hospital, which was, as usual, a miserable experience.
The doctors, after forgetting about me again, told me that I had passed out for absolutely no reason what so ever. Then sent me back to school after being in a hospital bed for 3+ hours. Quite a large amount of SUCK that was. So much for making carrot cake.
I don't even know what happened. I remember mumbling that I didn't feel too good, getting tunnel vision, then having some really weird dream that I think actually was about carrots. Next thing I know, I wake up and there are people standing around me, the school nurse was already there. First thing she says: "You're really pale."
First thing I say: "Can I have that bucket?" then "Mom's gonna say I have swine flu..."
But lets rewind real quick.
"You're really pale."

...

...naaaaaaaaaah.

"Your heart rate is very low..."

...really?

Random people from the class: "Your eyes stayed open when you went down..."

Maybe I'm a fish.

Anyway.
Took me to the doctor, they covered me in wires and stickers, kept asking me if I wanted a blanket (because there was no POSSIBLE way I could have passed out from heat?) and 2 hours later asked if I was dehydrated and needed to be hooked up to fluids.
Awesome. Way to go St. Francis.

So then I went back to school and ate some chicken tenders.

On the walk back from my dorm there was this HUGE hawk eating baby birds out of a nest. I wish I had a better camera to take a picture with, but all I had was my phone. Oh well.

Not bad for a camera phone.

But I swear, that bird was STARING ME DOWN.
I was going to be his next snack.

Meowth, That's Right!

Scratch that.
I am so not sleeping tonight.

For some reason, I cannot sleep in my room anymore. I always had trouble sleeping when I lived in my house anyway and I never knew why. Still don't. There must be something in here that is keeping me awake, giving me these eerie things. There is always something dashing by out of the corner of my eye, or crawling up. I really don't know what any of it is, but I don't like it being here. A few minutes ago I tried to get rid of it, but nothing really worked, I tried what I could. The last few times I slept here I couldn't sleep and was up all night with the lights on. It's gotten to that point again. I can only sleep well in my dorm or at Van or Chux house, that's about it. It's not like my room is a scary place. Yeah, I do have a poster from the grudge and a porcelain doll that stares at me in my sleep, but those aren't really the scary things. I even have a Meowth stuffed animal; that could make anything not scary anymore, but for some reason, my room is just plain creepy. I need to get my tree friends over here to do something about it. This whole house is crawling with things. I don't even know what most of it is, I can just tell that it's there, keeping me from walking in the hallways at night. There is no way in hell I could walk around my house at night. I get freaked out walking from my room to the bathroom and it is literally 8 feet away. Two steps. Its just so creepy and gives off such bad vibes.

Sleep sounds absolutely wonderful right about now, but I keep waking up. It is horrid.
Someone come make everything better? My feet are cold.

Better think of my answers now because I know the questions will be asked. Like if I brought the joy I found in the confessions of a mask. The tip of my tongue's already touching the top of my mouth. It's meaning manifest in mercy burning down the house. It's true that tactless teem totem-poles turn tolerance to tired taboos. It's true that a bullet never knocks on the door, it's about to come crashing through. Walking one last mile in big steps as your alter-wine; doing it in tattered shoes that aren't even mine because my own are in a box locked up with possessions I can't have. Like the gunman with his future and the prison priest's golden calf. Blindfolds aside I'd probably still close my eyes and try to feel a trembling fetal life inside that shotgun barrel that's about to make me bleed. Like an ulcer in the stomach of the beast. Like a little girl on a bed that was years ago deceased. Resurrected last night with a letter she can't trace, resurrected to be killed and maybe born again; I'll always be Kezia so long as any hope remains.

Very good song, but I do not like the way they pronounce Kezia. The way they do is probably the correct way, but who knows. There is Caroline (care-oh-lin) and Caroline (Care-oh-line), along with Madeline (Mad-uh-lin) and Madeline (Mad-uh-line). They pronounce is kuh-ZI-uh with a long "I" sound, while I pronounce is KEZ-ee-uh. Hm. They way they pronounce it does sound more biblical, which makes sense considering it is a biblical name.
I could seriously listen to Protest The Hero all night long. The more I listen, the more I like them. They really are one of the most amazing bands I have ever heard in my entire life. It would actually be worth buying their album instead of just downloading it. They are worth giving my money to. That will now be on my list of things to do. Until then I will sit here and listen to them happily and not think about the scary things in my room. Perhaps I will fall asleep at my laptop. At least my face will be warm.

Get Me A Muzzle...

We had the It's Super Effective reunion tour today. What a good time. Sitting around and bullshitting about my old high school, about our lives now, and about the injustices of life. And about Watchmen. I, of course, made the most epic of blunders, as usual.

"Have you seen The Watchmen yet?"
"No! I really want to. Though I heard there is a lot of blue wang."
"Oh. Ha, yeah, there is a lot of blue wang. Dr. Manhattan walks around naked a lot...
(A few seconds later)
It's really long...
...
...Wait! No! The movie! Not..the...wang...

...you know what I mean..."

Go me.

And again, with my blunders. I made yet another. In my attempt to speak French.
We all know I do not speaka Frencha.

Here is what I tried to say:

"I am trying to speak french I do not speak french But I am trying. I am speaking french to say I love you in french. The first time I translated this, It translated to Dutch. You do not speak Dutch. I am sorry if I wake you up. Have a good day, my wonderful and favorite hermit crab"

This is what it said to say:

"J'essaye de parler français Je ne parle pas français Mais j'essaye Je parle français pour dire je t'aime en français La première fois que j'ai traduit ceci, il a traduit au Néerlandais. Vous ne parlez pas néerlandais que je suis désolé si je vous réveille Ayez un beau jour, mon bernard l'ermite merveilleux et préféré"

I then sent that text message, not really thinking.
I then looked to check and see how correct it was.

This is what it really said:

"J' try to speak French I do not speak French But j' I test speak French to say I t' like in French the first time that j' translated this, it translated for the Netherlander. You do not speak Dutch that I am sorry if I awake you Have one beautiful day, my Bernard l' marvellous and preferred hermit"

A for effort, right?

Oh, Dairy Queen is open again, and they have grab bags. (see one of my previous posts: "Grab Bags" for more information.)
Definitely got some ice cream that's still in the freezer. It is not chicken flavored.

Oh. One more blunder.
I successfully managed to rip the tire open on the car. Along with scratch the rim and break part of the bumper. I really don't know how that could have possibly happened because I really didn't hit the curb that hard. I don't think my parents believe me, but that's up to them whether they do or not. I know how hard I hit something. It was no different than any other time you run over the curb. I honestly don't understand how it could have done so much damage. I did hit my head pretty hard though, but I didn't mention that to my parents, they probably would have just freaked out more and believed me less about how hard I hit the curb. Oh well. I'm just happy that I somehow forced myself to not Frisbee my dinner plate through the sliding glass door like I wanted to. its nice to be home for a while, until I sit down at the dinner table. For some reason, sitting at the dinner table just makes me want to leave. Maybe because 95% of bad conversations happened at the dinner table, even since I was a kid. The other 5% were either in the car or in some other place, probably in the doorway of my room or the computer room. For some reason all the fighting happens at the table. When I have my own house, I will not have a dinner table. Dinner tables just lead to bad things. I want to go back to school now.

I need to go work out again. Perhaps in the morning. My hair feels like spaghetti and I'm getting into one of those moods where I want to cut it all off. Hopefully I won't give in and do that again, I'm trying to grow it out because I think I might actually look pretty again if I do.
I got some new clothes today, but I really just felt like crap the whole time I was shopping. Something about clothing stores makes any shred of self esteem I had just disintegrate. I really can't wait until I am pretty again. I miss how I used to look.
More like this, less like I do now. Someday. Maybe after I get out of school and I start working more and having more of a life. Who knows.

Alright, I'm done being upset. Lets be happy.
I've gotten close to 400 new songs today on my itunes and I'm not even finished yet! Im going to have all kinds of great stuff to listen to at school now. And I'll go and buy some blank CDs and I'll make people mix cd's and they'll all be happy, and then I'll be happy because they're happy. And tomorrow I'm going to the grocery store!! I love t he grocery store! And Ill make my mom a tart for her birthday. She wont decide what she wants so I'm just going to have to make something up. I think Ill probably make some kind of cake and some pate a choux to decorate it with or something. I really don't know. I have an idea for it, but I'm not sure yet. Oh well, I guess we'll see tomorrow. I heard a funny song about Toast today...that's exciting, yes?

I think I am going to go make crepes...

The Pebbles Forgive Me, The Trees Forgive Me, So Why Can't You Forgive Me?

When things go wrong and I am not feeling so great about myself, or if I had a rough day, I sometimes go to fmylife.com and find things that kind of make me feel a little bit better.
I was just doing this and felt the need to share some interesting ones.

Today, I was at the orthodontist. As the lady was clipping my brackets, she missed and clipped my gums instead. She looked at me and said, "Oh sorry, you're bleeding really badly. See, I got these fake nails put on and I guess I'm just not used to them. Let me try again." She missed. FML

That is disgusting. You would think that someone that works at an orthodontist would not be allowed to have long nails. It only makes sense. And was she not wearing gloves either? I don't know. that's kind of horrid.

Today, I was bored at my job at Home Depot. I got a bar code tattoo 3 weeks ago and thought it would be funny to scan it. I'm a $5.98 160z claw hammer. FML

Fantastic. I didn't know that was even possible.

Today, my good friend who just had a baby girl sent her newborn's pictures to me via picture message. To reply, instead of writing "Awwwwww" I wrote "Ewwwwww" by mistake. FML

Bahahhaa. We've all had those accidental text messages.

Today, I ran over a squirrel. I saw it twitching so I backed over it to end its suffering. It wasn't a squirrel it was a kitten. The children it belonged to watched as I ran over their kitten. TWICE. FML

As absolutely horrible as that is, I couldn't help but laugh a little.
I feel bad for the kitten, but my god. If I've ever heard a 'f my life' story, that was it.

So, whoever may be reading this; if your day is sucking, if you're feeling miserable, if something is horribly wrong, or if you're just in a crappy mood, take this moment to laugh at someone else's expense, to know that someone else has fucked up considerably more today, and try to feel a little better.

Maybe Someday...

Today sucked. I'm not even going to lie. It really really did. It was alright until I got to class. At that point, it all just started falling downhill.

I had to make biscotti for my practical. I fucking hate biscotti. No one likes biscotti. Fuck biscotti. With my awesome phonetic skills, I successfully managed to misread and totally destroy the recipe by attempting to make chocolate chip biscotti instead of chocolate. Sooo I had to figure out how to somehow change chocolate chip into chocolate. Little did I realize that one require baking soda while the other required baking powder. And on top of all of this, the oven I used broke without my knowledge. Needless to say I had some really shitty biscotti. Needless to say, I failed my exam. Awesome. Two more to go, though.

After class I went to the gym again.
It was later this time, it was pretty full. As soon as I walked in the room, I instantly felt as if I had transformed from human to meat. I walked in, and I just wasn't even a person anymore. I ignored this and just put in my headphones and listened to my music while I ran and lifted weights. But I could still see the people just staring at me and watching me lift weights and just look at me in ways I really prefer to not be looked at in. I really made me feel like shit. I was actually a bit self conscious as I was lifting; not because I can't lift much, but just because I could tell how a lot of the guys were staring. It really made me feel shitty. I don't even take it as a compliment anymore.
And then of course, I had Broski and Beaver stop by to hang out a bit. A few lines were crossed with some things that were said. Starting with something that had happened one night when I had been drinking and did some ridiculous and regrettable things that I honestly did not know happened. And of course I had a few of those empty blank spaces in my mind were filled in about what really did happen that time. Nothing that I am happy about nor proud of, nor really wanted to remember. Especially aloud in a room full of other people that honestly did not need to know about all of that. Continuing on, I also learned that I was the fulfiller of a couple 'guy fantasies', which truth be told made me feel absolutely sick and disgusted with myself. Strangely, at this point i can understand why I look like a half-rack of spare ribs to someone.
I'm going to bed.
fuck it.

Do you remember how it was when you bled? When you loved and burned in those flames that you've kept because Vesta's long been sleeping . And now you've come to accept that your anatomy defines more than a few of the gaping holes in our social fabric; more than a few one night stands, more than a few prison bars melted into wedding bands.
We've made you all the peasants and we've made ourselves the kings, our queens are still subordinate as an angel without wings .We make it easy to belong which means it's easy to be wrong "Put some plastic in your tits, and you'd look better as a blond." I remember when you were hopeful and you never thought your life would be lived inside a coffin with a moral sacrifice and a million social obligations, labels and expectations. You were young and modern seventeen in vogue and vague pursuit of a cosmopolitan dream. When you bled on the bed as you fed those expectations as a whore and not a human, you embraced with hesitation the very parameters of all you can be; not a mother, not an aunt, not a sister who's not subdued, because dignity's not physical and your flesh means more than you. I know we'll wake up one day with a gun to the back of our brains. You'll be asking for your rib and I'll smile and call you brave. Maybe someday when this bloody skull has dried I'll know our city is in ruins when our greatest source of pride is a monument of dicks and ribs and gender crowns we wore where underneath, a plaque will read, "No woman is a whore."

The Cake Is A Lie

Alright mini-rant time.
I have to get ready for class in 15 minutes so we'll see how this one turns out.

okay, so I hardly think I can ever go to class today, there isn't much I would do to be able to avoid it. Thank god I only have 2 weeks left of this one after today, then I can continue on. I liked Baking Techniques a lot better. Ive had this class (Pastry Techniques) for a week now and I honestly want to scalp myself with a potato peeler.
Its not even so much that I mind the class or even my chef, but I honestly cannot stand this girl that Im working with, or two of the other people there.
My partner is SERIOUSLY one of the slowest people I have ever met in my life. I have continuously described her as having the intellectual capacity of half a bag of broken light bulbs. I am also 99% sure that the crusty bowl of Velveeta on my desk has more personality. First off, this girl says that every thing is gross or disgusting.
I pour buttermilk into a bowl and she goes "Ew..thats ger-oss..." She sees gelatin blooming: 'Thanks disgusting..."
I successfully filled an entire tray of eclairs by the time the conquered the oh-so-strenuous task of washing two bowls.
Van said I should talk to her with puppets to help her understand.
And for the passed three days she been talking to the girl in front of us. "Kendra....You wanna watch Gumby later?"

Gumby?...Gumby?!

Go back to preschool, take your purple koolaid with you, and get the hell away from my Panna Cotta.

Then, there's this other girl, Little Miss West Chester who looks like she has two fishhooks pulling her nostrils upward because she is so stuck up. I don't know. Maybe its just her face.
Or maybe its the fact that when the chef said "If you're rich, you can start big, but if you're not, start small" she gave a smug little smirk and looked around to see everyone else's reaction. I'm really not sure what her problem with me is, but its something. And her non-existent sense of humor does not make her any more pleasant.

Then there is one more, who sounds like Snuffeluffagus and looks like a pig bred with the Pillsbury dough boy. Ive yet to see any of her things turn out well and she has an attitude that honestly makes me want to vomit.

So I accidentally dropped my rolling pin as hard as I could across the classroom at her head.
oops.

Not really. I wish.

Anyhow. Off to class. I just really needed to vent about all of that. We'll see if I make it out alive.

I'M OLD GREG!

Alright so Raven left and I'm a hot mess. Its a disaster.
I really dont know what to do. I don't know where to put my toothbrushes, I don't have anyone to run to, yelling about my visions, or a room to burst into and go "IM SO HAPPY CUZ IM A GUMMY BEAR, GUMMY BEAR!!!". im reckless!
And sad.
So hopefully she'll come home soon.

Anyhow.
Today was a great day. I woke up and felt fantastic, [then was momentarily shocked as I remembered some events from last night (oops!)] then my friend Slappy came and picked me up and we went to taco bell and drove on old roads in his big green old man detective car and we looked at psych wards. After I got back on campus I did grocery shopping at the cafe here and got some drinks, then went to class. Class was pretty good for the most part. New class, new chef, made corn muffins. AWESOME. I don't have class until 3:30 every day, and that's exciting to me. So it was a good day and I'm feelin happy.
Thats about it.

End.

"Everbody just...pretened to be normal, okay? Like everything is normal here."

The suicidal gay uncle, the heroin addict grandfather, the over-achieving father, the mute son, the daughter that just wants to please, and the mother that tries to cope with it all.
These are all extremes, but really every family is like the main characters of Little Miss Sunshine.
I continue to think about this as I watch the movie. Every one's family is so crazy, but so normal at the same time. Every family has problems, every family has a slightly unhinged member, every family goes on some kind of whirlwind adventure at one pointt or another. Its really very interesting to think about it. Not every family has a gay suicidal uncle that is depressed yet scholarly, but they still have the family member that will desperately need some kind of help but is no longer trusted. Everyone may not directly have that mute son, but there is still the family member that wants nothing more than to get as far away from everyone as possible. Every family has someone that has an addiction, or a problem, but they still want the best for everyone else. But everyone does not have heroin addict grandpa. As I watch this movie, I think about how despite the dramatization, the Hoover family is just like every other family. Just as crazy, just as disheveled, just as problematic.
The only difference is that every family doesn't have a yellow Volkswagen bus.

Though I did love "Who Wants To Be A Superhero..."

The television these days is really going down hill. Last night it had me in tears.
Reality TV is by far one of the worst inventions of all time. Not only is it addictive, it is completely useless. See, at least there used to be some good reality TV, back in the day. We had Survivor, Big Brother, The Mole, things like that. Nowadays we have A Double Shot At Love (as if A Shot At Love 1&2 weren't bad enough) Charm School, From G's to Gents, and I don't even remember the one I saw yesterday. It was something horrible. This girl had the most atrocious black, blond and blue hair and she was making a fool of herself. It had something to do with singing. Now, on top of all of those, you have Celebreality. Rock of Love with Brett Michael's, Surreal World (Or is it Surreal Life?), Celebrity Fit Club, then the ever loved Let's Snoop in Celebrity's Houses So We Know That Their Lives Are Just as Fucked Up as Ours As We Invade Their Families Privacy And Watch Their Rather Staged Family Crisis. All While Being Envious of Their Large Sums Of Money. Such as Run's House and Hogan Knows Best. And I'm pretty sure that Salt n Peppa had something like that. But really all they're doing is taking D list celebrities and sticking them on suffering networks to try to make the ratings go up. Sounds like a great plan to me. The reason these shows are so horrible is because they're just desperate for desperate, scummy people. They can have a television show with Tila Tequila (whoever that is...) because someone like Bono is: 1. Worth too much; 2. Smarter than that; 3, Actually cared about.
Please, lets up Oprah on a celebrity dating show.
Talk Show Of Love with Oprah Winfrey!
FANTASTIC!

Then on top of that, you start with something like..oh... I don't know... America's Next Top Model. Good idea, yes? Then you have America's Next Top Model 1-35. How many Top Models do we need?
But wait! All of these Top Models need clothing to wear. So hurry! Make up a new show! This is when all of the producer scramble and come up with Project Runway. Brilliant.
Wait...it needs a host...hurry...who is desperate for drug money so they'll do anything now, even though no one cares about them anymore? Oh! How about a slightly-too-old underwear model? Fantastic!
Hold on! We need someone to do all their hair...lets get some no names to compete in Shear Genius, while all the frantic culinarians on Top Chef make food for their lunch break. It's okay, we only need one winner for that. The models will just throw-up the food anyway. And of course they all compete on the latest reality show about interior decorators. Ten points if anyone can name what it is! Because I sure as hell can't remember.
There is nothing to fear though, because if you're mean, loud, and obnoxious enough, MTV will contact you with a contract to find your true love on one of their many shows. As long as you're somewhat attractive or bisexual.
So, by the look of it, as long as you are:

Skinny
Mean
Loud
Bitchy
A back stabber
Hopeless
A chef
A designer
A model
An interior decorator
A hair stylist
Not straight
Black
White
Remotely attractive
Single
Kind of single
Almost single
Willing to pretend to be single
Cheating
On drugs
Fat
Or have appeared on American Idol at least twice;
You have a chance to be on reality TV!

Congratulations, you have succeeded in life.

On The Road Again

Long ride home today. Lots of snow. Ian was nice enough to drive me home. We were doing great for about an hour then all of a sudden we got enveloped in a whirling cyclone of frost.
Alright, that was a little bit dramatic.

But I think you get my point. It was a really dangerous drive. Lots of snow. New York to Philly. Quite the adventure. It took HOURS. But we did eat at the Eveready Diner today. yum. Aaaaand... get Starbucks. shhhhh... But honestly, it makes me feel like a spoiled, pretty Cali girl or something when I drink starbucks. Especially when I wear my white coat, sunglasses, or if I'm texting on a phone. I just feel like a shitty person.
But I got home and we went to eat at a grody Texmex place. It was kind of sick. And I went to the bookstore. The bookstore really is an enjoyable place. I enjoy hanging out there.

We then came home and watched Hellboy 2. Abe is such a great character. He's my favorite. See? Isn't he cute??

Anyway.

I'm sleepy. Goodnight.

Ps- Totally saw the 30 Days Of Night graphic novel in the book store today.

MUST. HAVE.

"Thoughts Are Funny Little Things, They Can Make Paupers or Make Kings"

The more I'm here, the more I want to go home.
Today really just sucked. I'm not even going to lie.
I just had to walk home in the ice from McDonalds down a highway, Jenny hasn't had her mother call mine about her visiting, my friend might be pregnant and I've been horribly ill.
This is just a lot right now and the people that I thought I could trust really just don't seem to be there for me anymore. This makes me rather sad, to be honest. I'm not going to lie and pretend that its okay. There is so much stuff going on with my life that I can't even write down on here because I can't afford to have it on the Internet where other people can find it. There are things that I just can't risk. There is an overwhelming feeling of sadness right now and I'm really not all that sure what to do about it.
I also had a dream last night.
I had a dream that I was looking down at two or three large pots of boiling water. In the water were several very very young, dead, kittens. It was very disgusting. And interesting.

"To see a kitten in your dream signifies deceit and trouble ahead. If you dream about a litter of kittens, you may be drawn into a social conflict."

"Hot water foretells a season of social setbacks."

Huh. Makes too much sense.

Anyhow. I have to sit here and wait because my room is locked and I don't have my keys to get back in. They're in Michelle's car. So, I guess I'll just sit around until she gets back or something. I don't know.
Goodnight, computer.
