SCREEEEEEEE!!

Though I tend to talk about zombies a lot, I really have another point to bring up.

Van and I were in the car the other day, after an awesome weekend, and we got on yet another zombie related topic. This one goes as follows:

What would be worse: a raptor outbreak, or a zombie Apocalypse?

Think about it. Lets say that there are equal amounts, either way. Lets say that...there is 1 zombie or raptor for every 2 people. which is worse?
I personally think that zombies are worse to deal with.

In the event of a mass invasion of creatures, I would rather is be raptors than zombies. In all honesty, I feel that I would be more likely to escape from a raptor.

Raptors, though intelligent, do not have the ability to spread a disease to change people into one of them. If you get bit by a raptor, you will not get turned into one if you get away. You will still be human. Wounded, but human none the less. Zombies, on the other hand, will turn you into one of them. If you get bit by a zombie and get away, you will still turn into a zombie, therefor endangering those around you, and perhaps changing the ratio.
Secondly, raptors have a sense of reason.
If you are trapped somewhere, lets say a hole for example, a raptor will try to get at you, then they will give up because they get bored. Zombies will not. A zombie will try to get you until it does or until it is destroyed. A zombie will reach and claw at you.

Next thing to take into consideration is the fact that raptors can feel pain while zombies cannot. if you shot a gun and blow off a raptor's arm, it will stop attacking you because it is in pain. On the contrary, a zombie will keep coming after you with one arm and half a head. Also, if you light a raptor on fire, it will die, a zombie will just chase you while it is on fire.
Lastly, raptors will die out on their own. They will eventually all be killed or just die. It takes a long time to reproduce and their eggs are easy to destroy. All a zombie has to do is infect a person or animal and you instantly have more zombies. This will cause problems.

So, in the end, it is decided that Z Day is far more detrimental than a zombie attack. They are more resistance, harder to injure, and faster to populate, therefor making them the most dangerous.
Several people thought that raptors would be worse. I think I would stand a better chance against raptors.

That is all.
Goodnight.

pfffft.

obviously, raptors are worse.

IMHO, the zombie menace is largely overrated.

why do people in the movies lose oh so often against zombies?

1. they hesitate to shoot anyone who was bitten. this is an easy one: (un-)live isn't worth (non-)living as a zombie. you're doing people a favour by shooting them before they change.

2. zombies are slow. yet people keep getting caught in dead ends. we know what to do: don't get surrounded, get guns, get into the wilderness.

3. getting on roofs in apopulated area is massively stupid. more people = more zombies. live off bugs if you have to, just get away from populated areas and you might live happily ever after before seeing a zombie again.

so, what makes raptors so much more dangerous?

1. they're fast. DAMN FAST. zombies are sooo slow (unless we're talking "28 days" zombies)

2. they can coordinate attacks. raptors had quite a few hundred thousand years to train attacking animals much larger than themselves (like, MUCH LARGER). humans are nothing but a quick, fun kill to them.

3. related issue: a zombie can't doge when you swing at his head with an axe...well, he could try, but: THEY'RE SLOW. humans are no match for a raptor in close combat.

also: a zombie might not feel pain, but killing a zombie is relatively easy to anyone who ever so a single zombie movie; aim for the head. that's all.
you cut off the arm of one raptor, but the other 10 raptors will tear you in half while you do your little victory dance.

you, my lady, underestimate raptors.

zombies are slow, stupid and as we all know, unlike raptors, zombies can't use door handles.

if people would just get over the idiot mistakes of the characters in zombie movies, they'd see that we should for the raptor resurrection and not zombie holocaust.

i thank you all for attending tonite, take a free brochure and sign up for our non-existant newlsetter on your way out.

i so apologize for all the typos. brandy made me do it. (brandy the booze, not brandy the girl with parents who didn't love her enough for a decent name...or...whatever.)

Ah, no, see I am talking true zombies. The ones that have the same amount of abilities as a huma. Same speed, strength, etc, just the lack of ability to feel pain.
I still must say that zombies would be worse. Simply because of the virus factor.
